Hello there!

I'm Kunal, a self-declared philomath. I built this website as an outlet for my musings. Here you'll find a variety of topics through which I've ideally strung a common thread.

I have a penchant for optimizing, often too early and at times with the cost of annoying my partner. In one such instance, she called me optimization prime and I just knew it had to be the name for my blog.

I'm currently in New York pursuing a Tech MBA at NYU. Previously I have been a Product Manager (Ring, Alexa) and Software Engineer (Alexa) at Amazon. I grew up in the Bay Area, studied Computer Engineering at UCSB (go Gauchos!), and have lived in Seattle and SF.

Interests include: tech, environmentalism, writing, personal finance, personal development, football, skiing, and cycling.
