I'm Kunal, a self-declared epistemophile. I built this website as an outlet for my musings. Here you'll find a variety of topics through which I've ideally strung a common thread.

I have a penchant for optimizing, often too early and at times with the cost of annoying my partner. In one such instance, she called me optimization prime and I knew it had to be the name for this blog.

I'm currently based in San Jose CA, working as a Product Manager at Amazon. Previously I was a Software Engineer working on Alexa. I graduated from UCSB in 2018 with a BS in Computer Engineering, go Gauchos!

Interests include: tech, environmentalism, personal finance, personal development, football, skiing, and cycling.
